Nagystrand is one of Lake Balaton's busiest and best-equipped beaches: pedal boat, SUP and catamaran rental, beach volleyball courts and family-friendly sections. On Aranypart, right next to our apartments, you'll also find quieter stretches for those who'd rather relax.
Sió Canal, Siófok
A walk along the Sió Canal
The mouth of the Sió Canal is one of Siófok's most scenic walking routes — a great addition to the boat trip if your group still has energy left afterwards. Several fish restaurants line the waterfront.

Sightseeing boats departing from Siófok's harbour make for a great afternoon or sunset outing — many groups choose this for their arrival or last evening. Motorboats and sailboats can also be rented if you'd rather explore the lake independently.

Siófok's nightlife buzzes in summer along the old town promenade and Petőfi sétány: bars, terraced restaurants and regular live music await. It's one of the most popular evening activities for groups after a day at the beach.

Rózsakert — a quieter stop
If your group is after somewhere calmer after a long evening stroll, Rózsakert right next to the promenade is a perfect choice: flower beds, benches and shaded rows of trees let everyone slow down a little before or after the night out.

The lakeside cycle path starting from Aranypart runs for kilometres in both directions on flat, safe terrain — a great full-day activity for the whole group. Bike rental is available at several points nearby.
Plázs beach, Siófok
Plázs — when you want a break from the Nagystrand crowds
Towards the old town, a short drive from Nagystrand, Plázs is a quieter alternative for days when your group fancies a calmer stretch of shore. Especially beautiful at sunset.
Day trip to Tihany and Balatonfüred
Day trips to the Balaton Uplands
A free day is the perfect chance to explore Tihany, Balatonfüred or the Badacsony wine region — all within an hour's drive of Siófok. Larger groups often organise a shared wine tour or boat excursion.
Entrance to Veszprém Zoo
Veszprém Zoo — great for multi-generational groups
If you're travelling with a larger, mixed-age group — grandparents and kids alike — Veszprém Zoo, about 45 minutes away, makes a full day out that everyone enjoys, with more than 700 animals and a popular dinosaur park.
Richter Flórián Circus, Zamárdi
Richter Flórián Circus — a shared evening out for the group
In neighbouring Zamárdi, the Richter Flórián Circus performs almost every summer evening — spectacular acrobatics, a horse show and the famous motorcycle "globe of death" act entertain adults and kids alike. Barely a 10-minute drive from Aranypart.

Bella Animal Park, Siófok
Bella Animal Park — a calmer option with little ones
If your group includes small children, this animal park in Siófok's Bella-puszta area, with a petting zoo and playground, makes for a relaxed half-day outing while the rest of the group does something else.

- Promenade restaurants and bars fill up fast on summer weekends — groups should book a table in advance.
- Boat trips and bike rentals are best booked ahead of time in season.

- Veszprém Zoo is a full-day trip — it's best to set off early in the morning.
